Challenge
Norwood Interiors is a Leeds-based retailer specialising in fitted kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms. Although they already had an online presence they’d never previously carried out any online marketing activity to drive traffic to the site.
They were keen to explore the benefits that online marketing could offer their business and commissioned a three month test campaign where we would devise and implement a regional search marketing campaign to increase site traffic.
If the trial proved successful, and we could demonstrate the effectiveness of online media to increase visitors, further investment from the client would be made.
Solution
We developed and delivered a strategic PPC search marketing campaign, which included regional targeting by keyword and location targeting by IP address. This ensured that users searching for relevant terms — and those within a certain geographical area — would be served a Norwood ad that would then drive them through to the site.
We also carried out full analysis, tracking and reporting at every stage of the process to ensure that we could monitor the effectiveness of our work. These results were then presented to the client.
Results
The test campaign was a great success. As a result of the activity Norwood enjoyed a four-fold increase in site traffic and significant uplift in brochure requests and sales enquiries. They were also suitably impressed with the results to commission further work and continue the campaign on a rolling basis after the test period had expired.
In addition to this they also asked us to develop a further search marketing campaign to promote Poggenpohl of Leeds, which is their high-end kitchen retail proposition.
